This page exists to give an idea of some of the projects that could be done using PyEarthTools. They can be done using well-known data sets and could be jumping-off points for people seeking a place to start. In no particular order...

1. Train an unconditioned diffusion model to generate realistic satellite images
2. Train a conditioned diffusion model to generate realistic satellite images on the basis of model outputs, to generate synthetic satellite data
3. Identify the least amount of data needed to train a skilful weather or climate model
